1st player in Gujarat to adopt rPET
‘PetNext is leading the charge to protect our environment by reducing plastic waste destined for landfills’

What is rPET?
rPET stands for recycled polyethylene terephthalate. It's a type of plastic that's made by recycling used PET (polyethylene terephthalate) products, like plastic bottles. Instead of being thrown away, these old plastic items are collected, cleaned, and processed to create rPET. This recycled plastic can then be used to make various products, including PET preforms for bottles, packaging materials, textiles, and more.

Why use rPET?
In line with the visionary initiatives of the Indian Government, there is a strategic roadmap in place aiming to escalate the usage of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) to 30% by the year 2026, with a subsequent phased increase to reach 60%. An integral aspect of this endeavor involves leveraging the distinctive properties of rPET, particularly its lower requirement for heat and temperature during the blowing process, thus contributing to both environmental sustainability and operational efficiency.
